When we was returning to Ringway from Milan another plane passed underneath and looking out of the window it looked to be a few feet away, but we was told it would have been around a thousand feet, on your photo the plane on the left looks to be higher than the one on the right, though being 30,000 + feet away it's difficult to tell exactly. Doesn't bear thinking that Shevy could have been wiped of the map this morning.

Working in air traffic control is a job I wouldn't like to do, any wonder they look forward to having a break.

Where is the near miss? Although it looks like they're close the reality is they are thousands of feet apart. Very common to see on a clear day

There were two sparrows perched in the olive tree outside of the Plough and Harrow in Shevy centre and one said "look at the speed of that!" as a jet zoomed overhead, but the other sparrow was unimpressed saying "you'd fly that fast if your tail was on fire." Laughing
