I am fairly certain it is not about OCD and just good sensible hygiene, I do wash my hands dozens of times a day.
I suspect your occupation as a nurse educated you to be scrupulous about personal cleanlinesss.

Anyone can point a camera and take an 'image', but they are works of art, with the composition, balance, colour and subject matter, you should be very proud.
