I'm breakfasting on porridge until new toaster (Dualit) arrives on Sunday.

I think the cartoon posted by jo anne (23/2/16) sums it up better than words. What crap quality we accept in these basic appliances!

The Swiss toaster, (FUST PRIMOTECQ) which I have mentioned made the best toast whilst it was in pristine condition, but reflectors cannot be kept clean inside of a toaster, they quickly deteriorate.

Where I to design a toaster, I would base it upon the FUST PRIMOTECQ model, but with reflectors which could be easily slid out of the machine to keep them clean and polished.

That would wipe the floor with the competition!
