Well, this morning, my Swiss toaster (mentioned earlier in this thread) finally failed. With no way to keep the reflecting surfaces clean inside a toaster, it has progressively cooked up its own innards.

So, I will rate it a design failure.

How is your latest ASDA toaster performing, i-spy?

So that is me, again in the market hunting for a new toaster.

The one rated best in the review that search found, and is also Amazon's best seller, still has dozens of reviewers complaining that it cannot toast evenly, and is very limited with respect to slice sizes. (about £20+)

Can't decide if t go tut supernarket n ger a cheapy this evening, or get the two slice Dualit fo just over a tun!
