I used to be good mates with John Darin [RIP] others were Sean ONeill [RIP] Alan Marcroft Dave Catterall and Andy Kenyon, all good lads from that area.
Used to go to the football when it was 2p on the bus from Wigan to Manchester. Gary Armstrong was a big city far from Marsh Green.
