Hi Fordie. Dave Stephens signed for Wigan at the beginning of the 65-66 season from Castleford RU. In his first game he played on the wing instead of Billy B in the old Ward Cup in '65! He was a talented player, but not in the same class as Billy, Trevor Lake or Mick Sullivan!
