to control the Dreaded SLUG

my fav is to be friendly with your local pub landlord and get him to save his alcohol dregs when he has cleaned the pumps or cleared the glasses after a good night

( if you are Organic dont use the line dregs they are contaminated with cleaning chemicals)

put a container into the ground the size of a cup and half fill with the beer clear the slugs each morning in a bucket of water after a couple of days dispose ,

next one get friendly with your coffee house again ask for the dregs from the machine filter and spread in 2 inch wide lines (Min) around your plants

copper strip test I did a test by putting a strip of copper in front of a slugs nose and yes he didnt like it and kept vearing away from the strip but eventualy he found a way around

this past week Ive put a deep bowl of old beer in between the hostas there are at least 40 slugs in the dish drowned after having a great time getting drunk not one hosta has been attacked
