Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

The Bickershaw festival was around what is now Forresters Close. On the right before you go over the bridge. As the map shows the Maypole land is on the right hand side going up Park Lane. I was brought up in Abram and I never remember anyone talking about Morris Dancers.
