Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

can anyone recall a large lamp standard at the junction
of tunstall lane and ormskirk road it would be just past what used to be "the carlton cinema"my brother insist's it was there around 1945 thro to late 1950s i know this is going back a long way but if anyone out there could shed some light on this it would solve a long running debate between my brother &i a bit more there is a veg shop on one side now also if there are any photo's that would be super
