Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

There were a lot of lovely stores like Pendlebury's in many towns which were bought by Debenhams. I think they all lost something when they were no longer family run businesses, a real shame, they all start to look the same, like most high streets do these days. Now every town has a Marks and Spencer, Next, River Island, Primark, Costa Coffee, McDonalds etc etc, before long we won't be able to tell one town from the other - BORING.
