Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

Started by: ML1954 (1)

I did my A levels at Wigan Tech 1970 - 72, and I recall that some of the lectures were in a Victorian building that I think was known as Spring Gardens annex.

I recently re-established contact with a friend who was there with me. We were discussing our days there, he mentioned a few names, and I just wondered if any of them ever look at this site.

The names that we remembered are Jim Topping, Sue McClune, Anne Smith, Pat Warburton, Cath Lancaster, Alison Large and Jane Edwards (funny how we could remember so many of the female students, and very few of the male ones!)

One of the subjects I studied was Economics, and there was a lecturer called Mr Esberger (sp?).

They were very happy days, so if any of these names mean anything to any readers it would be great to know what happened to them.
