Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

I used to catch them in in the Ribble and Lancaster canal.My dad told me they used to catch them in ponds and folk used the skins for sprains just like knitbone.The only pond I remember them being caught in was what we called the perch pond near the golf links in Hindley and they were quite big.
