You are right to point out about the exact location of Gladstone House.
One of the maps refers to "Poolstock Lane or Fairbrother Lane" for what is now called Poolstock Lane.
This may be why Wigan Metro have called the road to W. M. Club Fairbrother Avenue. But again, why Avenue.
As I said previously, I've seen a map that actually names the building Gladstone House.
