Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

I remember standing near Blundell`s pit in Highfield watching Pendlebury`s burn down. We had a good view over Wigan in those days. They moved to the site of the gas showrooms and the shop on standishgate was rebuilt. I don`t think they moved back there but eventually Debenhams took it over.
