I have got some dried peas, so I am going to steep them today (I use cold water) and tomorrow I am going to make a pon of pey soop

A very important ingredient for me in pea soup and corned beef hash and even lobbies, are 'carrots' I haven't got a ham shank, so I am going to use bacon instead
