Getwom, to quote, Discuss and ask about anything related to Wigan... Page 2, Join the real men !!!! Correct me if I’m wrong, but is there any relevance to Wigan? In my opinion people should be entitled to their views without being branded, I was a punk from the 70s, so I know full well about having labels attached to me just because people didn’t agree with what I stood for, I disagree with a lot of the things that are happening in the UK & the world, & we can’t escape the fact that there are problems with the Muslims & the western world. but surely just to have an opinion doesn’t make a person a racist or a Nazi, I agree with Billy on some things but I’m in no way a Nazi or racist, going back to the days of punk, the only pub I could get in in Wigan was the John Bull, nowhere else would serve me just because of what I stood for, people would cross the street from me or shout obscenities, I was ostracized by the people of Wigan so I moved to Bolton where it was a lot more relaxed, but I didn’t label the people of Wigan because they wouldn’t walk on the same side of the street or share a seat with me on a bus etc, I know I’m rambling but my point is people should not be labeled just because their opinions are different, I don’t think Billy is a Nazi, he has an opinion & he should be able to voice it without labels being attached to him, I hope I haven’t offended anyone in my post as that is not my intention, I think difference of opinion is healthy because it can result in compromise, if we lived in a dictatorship we could all have the same opinions, Hmmm I know which I prefer.
