Painting eh,Billy? You weren't apprenticed to Leonardo de Vinci by any chance,I believe he was pretty handy with paint and brush,did one of your favourite places,the Cistern Chapel wasn't it?
I think you are getting your countries mixed up Billy,it's the Kiwis who have an affinity with sheep chasing,and as for the cricket I will reserve my comments until the tournament begins.
Dave,probably in Ireland they don't need a photo to identify you because they can see it's you. Here in Oz they are contemplating introducing what they call a "Smart" card,not an identity card,oh no,definitely not,that might impinge on personal privacy but it will have personal information encoded on it,including a biometric photograph,which can be accessed only by those who need to know,mind you we've had photos on our driving licences for a number years.I've got nothing to be concerned about but I do wish they would tell the truth and get on with it.
I still have my identity card from the '40s and I think it only became unnecessary in the mid '50s.
