I had the Norton anti virus included with my comp when I bought it and had nothing but crashes ending up with the dreaded blue screen. I also had what was called PC Protect for which you have to pay monthly, when my problems started I rang them and got nothing, all they wanted to do is talk me through it over the phone, for me a big no no, so I sent for a young man who advertises om this site, he sorted my computer in no time uninstalled Norton and installed the Grisoft 7.5 AVG virus freeware, result up and running, no problems and all messages, checked and sorted, and by the way I got rid of the PC protect.
