Tom.
If you think you have proved me wrong, i'll not rain on your parade and dent your ego. I don't want to get involved in petty arguments, unlike yourself.
It is a Spring bank holiday, not Whit Monday.
Whit Monday used to be a bank holiday but the powers that be moved this bank holiday to the last Monday in May with a new title, spring bank holiday.

To answer your question, I have not seen a walking day for quite a while.
You stated they are not allowed anymore. Is that true?
Now, would you kindly reciprocate and answer mine?
Since when were walking days banned / not allowed as you stated previously?
