Sorry, I commented wrongly, so I apologise.

Out of curiosity, I looked up why MEAT shouldn't be eaten on Good Friday as that's when Jesus was crucified, and it said that the rule was discontinued in 1984. It says nothing about having to eat fish any other Friday, that I could find.

Makes no difference really as fish is still flesh whichever way you look at it.
