I totally agree with both your posts. However, there are many animals that need to be protected and cared for because too many have become extinct, because of man's selfishness and greed and zoos are the only option available for this. I don't like it, but it is a means to an end. A happier end, I hope.

I sponsor a female Bengal tiger called Kimera with the World Wildlife Fund. It may only be £9 a month, but it's my little contribution in the hope that these beautiful animals aren't butchered to make rugs for snotty rich folk.

There are many others that will become extinct within the next 50 years if nothing is done about it. It makes my blood boil just thinking about it.
