The ISP's, the Broadband suppliers, whatever you call them nowadays, have got yoo by the balls, and they are acting together as a Cartel (which is illegal) to push up the price of suppling internet services

So why that now ?

Well,,, society and the use of technology, means that most people now need the internet to conduct their lives in one way or another, and that need for access to the internet is going to become much more evident when they turn of the terrestrial TV transmitters in as early as 2030, but more likely to be 2034, because they are going to shift terrestrial television supply from places like the transmitter on Winter Hill, to the internet instead, and you have probably not heard of a thing called 'Freely' which has yet to launch, but it will takeover from 'Freeview' in supplying the mainstream TV channels BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and 5 plus other free to air TV channels.

It means that with 'Freely' you will not need to login to a TV streaming service, such as the BBC iPlayer, ITVx etc, to watch TV over the internet, it will be just like plugging in a TV aerial and watching TV, except that it will be coming over your internet supply.

There are advantages to that, in that 4K TV can only be shown over an internet connection, and that will eventually become 8K so it's not a bad thing, but it does mean that ISP's like BT, Virgin, TalkTalk, Sky etc, are going to become much more wealthy and powerful, and then you have got the likes of BT the biggest terrestrial internet supplier, also becoming the largest mobile internet supplier, because BT own's EE, that sort of rhymes doesn't it, but they are starting to attain a monopoly in the supply of internet services, and as the internet supply markets shrink, and there is less competition, the prices will start to go up, hence they have yoo by the short and curlies
