First time I ever bought a new car, it was on credit: interest free offer financed by LLoyds- Bowmaker, Turned out to be swings and roundabouts: unable to bargain the price down and still get the interest free loan.

Last time I bought a new car, was a cash purchase, and I had walked away from the deal. Two or three days later, call from their sales manager asking if I would reconsider buying from them, if he, "offered me a realistic price", which turned out to be FOUR GRAND less than best price I could negotiate with their sales team.
