Yes, I suppose it depends how you're fixed. I fly over there more or less every month and can go at a moments notice, so I'm better off transferring.
What I was pointing out is the fact that, if you take a refund (like they offered you, without talking you into rebooking at a later date) you'll have to pay more when you "certainly book with this company again in the future"!
