I don't know, jo anne. My first shop under the lockdown conditions was at a Tesco superstore. It has a massive drinks section.

Normally, they have six varieties of Chianti, and I buy the cheapest, knowing from experience it is the best for cooking. I will pay more for tuthers when it is not available.

On that occasion, (about 20 days ago) the wine shelves were almost stripped bare. But also, so where the lager shelves!

Stocks of spirits seemed to be holding up though.
