Busy Bee, I too found one of my babies grave there was about 10 in one grave I often wondered where she was buried it used to be said that they asked permission of people burying someone if they could put the baby at their feet, My daughter died in 1962 and it was oonly about 4yrs ago that I investigated and found out where she was buried , after that we moved to Worcestershire and lost another baby girl in 1964 this time I insisted she had her own grave she is now buried at Upron on Severn the hurt never goes away more so when you are older. as you say they never took photos in those days it was all seem to be done in secret as if it was your fault.I was told by the midwife "Well just get on and have another " oh I could have hit her
