On a previous post I praised Sainsbury’s for not selling fireworks.

BUT

We have been shopping at Sainbury’s for over forty years.
Yesterday was our last shopping trip there.
We shop at the new store on Atherleigh Way in Leyth, a very pleasant, light and airy place to shop.
The store however is woefully mismanaged.
We had a 6 to 7 week spell a while ago when there was hardly any fresh produce.
When I complained to one of the managers he gave me a long and convoluted story about ‘inventory errors’ which did not satisfy me, how hard can it be to order some fruit and veg and get it delivered.
Another common fault is there being no small trolleys outside the store, so you have to walk to the nearest trolley shelter.
Most weeks there is a shortage of some of our regular buys, so you can never guarantee getting your favourite products.
The final straw came yesterday, when they have changed ALL the milk brands.
Non of our preferred milk was available, the ones we checked were foreign brands.
It seems Sainsbury’s loss is Tesco’s gain.
