At present there is almost no pipeline construction for various reasons. A mixture of politics, environmentalists and indigenous people. In Alberta we are sat on lots of oil but no way to move it either way. Hopefully the Trans Mountain Pipeline will commence construction soon. This is to take oil from Alberta to the west coast. Fingers crossed.
