But a lot was said about how easy it would be to make trade deals. Inference: we would leave with a deal.

inference: a conclusion reached on the basis of evidence and reasoning.

Show me where leaving without a deal WAS mentioned.
Never, so why should we leave without a deal, and why should I believe it was the presumed intention.

You may be swayed by emotion, but what about some facts:
