Many promises were made on trade. No mention of no deal at all.

Not exactly big trade partners.
The EU recently signed a deal with Japan, (ten years to do), but if the UK leaves, the UK will not be in it.
The same with the recent deal with the big South American countries. These trade deals are not as easy as Johnson and his cronies would have people believe.
Even Johnson's brother doesn't believe in him by resigning, and neither do the Conservative MPs expelled from the party.
