General (General discussion, talk about anything.)
I will never forgive, or forget, what McVey did to the disabled workers at Remploy.
When she closed the factories, (there was one on Darlington St), only 35 out of a 1,000 laid off workers found a job.

To add insult to injury, some had 50% emergency tax taken out of their their final pay packet.

She then sold it off for £2,000,000, (that's 2 million quid for the Diane Abott mathematicians), and then means tested the benefits for the laid off workers.
Difficult enough for fully fit folk to get a job: imagine what it's like with a disability.
McVey than flogged Remploy off for 2 million quid and it has now "delivered annual profits of £7.1m for its American owner."

Flogged off for 2m: £7,100,000 profit per annumm,
She stood up for blue collar conservatives, she said, but took over £8,750 pounds in two years on expenses for a personal photographer.
Now that's what you call a brass neck.
