I voted Brexit, to leave, I have never wavered from that decision, and in spite of all the ‘bother’ that has gone on over the brexiting conditions, I am still resolved, in fact MORE resolved, to the fact that it is in our country’s best interest to leave the EU.
I was adamant in my belief that we are better off running our own country rather than Brussels telling us what our fish quotas are, what our farmers can and cannot do, overruling our high court decisions, and how straight our bananas should be LOL!!!!!.
Seriously, we ran our country successfully before we joined the EU, and we can do it again.
There are various figures banded about as to our contributions to the EU, but the commonly held perception is that we pay £350 million per week.
However, that’s without the rebate, the UK actually pays closer to £250 million a week.
That’s an awful lot of dosh that could fund education, the NHS and farming subsidies.
We should get the best deal we can, and leave on the 29th March.
Herr Mercedes wants us to buy his cars, Monsieur le Frog wants us to buy his cheese and wine, and the Dutch still want to sell us their awful irradiated tomatoes.
