I was born in 1939,and I believe it was the best time to be born,we didn't have much,but what you never had you didn't miss,so I was happy when I was a kid,plenty of good jobs when you left school,and almost everyone I knew did, or could buy their own house,and lots retired early with decent pensions,and never got involved with Elf & Safety or Smart phones.
