it is only this last few weeks that i have found the grave of my twin babies who died 33yrs ago. those days babies where buried in unmarke graves if they died within a certain time. i got in touch with the cemeterys and crematorium offices via email( to much of a coward to go there myself) and i got an email telling me a plot number and to get in touch with the office in wigan cemetery which is next to the crematorium. there a lovely man took me to the plot that i had been given and he put me at ease with the situation.it was upseting but after 33yrs at least i knew where my babies were. i didn,t go to the funeral because then you had to stay in bed for ten days after giving birth, my ex husband went but it wasn,t spoke about after.how things have changed now you can have pictures and hand prints etc. how i wish they,d done that in my day.
