Is it going out of fashion?

Don't usually eat cake, but, in 1970's, when I returned to North of England, I fell in love with parkin all over again.

So, at this time of year, parkin was one of those traditions which I had held on to.

Out shopping just, my flabber was totally ghasted: first three shops told me they had never heard of it! Fortunately got some at fourth attempt.

Will have to give Delia's recipe a whirl and have a go making some when I get time.
