I've recently had cataracts in both eyes removed. Previously I could read and see close up, but distance was getting a bit foggy which was not good for driving, hence the surgery.

I now need glasses for use for computer, and another pair for reading, which I didn't need before. Both pairs will cost me £189.00 with a free pair of lightly tinted sunglasses as I am now light sensitive.

These are from Hepworth & Hall, so it's not necessary to pay so much for glasses, and the ones I'm collecting this week are really pretty. Don't know if such opticians practice in Elizabeth's part of the world, but do shop around.

Elizabeth, please don't give up on glasses as your eyesight is the most precious thing you have.
