Last time, but one, I asked for that frame. I almost fell off the chair with shock. (Somewhere about the £250 mark!) grrrrrrr!

I too had such a frame circa 1970, Sure wish that I had kept it!

In the early 1980's, I had 'Peninsular Optical Company', in Hong Kong, make me a pair of specs with said frame. I did not go there specially for that, but a good buy on the air fare would make such a cheaper option than what I find in the UK
