I think that Britain will do a lot more trade with the USA when we leave Europe, because it should be noted that transport, in the shape of container ships are a lot bigger and faster than what they were prior to 1974 when we joined the then EEC so trade of all types, perishable foods etc can cross the Atlantic relatively quickly these days and so plug any gap in the present trade with the EU after Brexit and the big new container terminal in Liverpool, can take ships of any size in the world, so you might be drinking milk and using other cow products from America in years to come
