GB, it's not just about giving the EU a divorce bill as in paying to leave. It's about fulfilling signed and sealed commitments. Some of these projects will benefit the UK which is why we agreed to fund them in the 1st place.
Whatever the figure, surely this is only money that we would have been paying in if we were to remain so should already be budgeted for over the next however many years. Otherwise we shouldn't have agreed to fund them in the 1st place.
Are we a country that doesn't honour agreements?
Your view that they should take world wars into consideration is ridiculous. Imagine Italy chose to leave, but were given a bigger bill than us, on the grounds they sided with the Nazi's.
