GB.... about the Poles, my husbands brother in law was Polish who fought his way through occupied Europe to join 'our side' during the war. After serving as did many other Poles he declined repatriation preferring not to return to a communist state. Also one of my husbands work colleagues did the same thing. Both made first class citizens and contributions to society.
