Well it may have cost you £80 more to buy those tyres, but if a Frenchman had come over here to buy those tyres, it would have cost him £80 less to buy those tyres here, than in France and without getting into pedantic details about tyres (I an not in a Tonker mood) but the principle is that a lower pound helps exports.

Your quoted tyres sound like they are 'Continental' tyres
