Your first post made me chuckle, Joseph, as I suspected some of it to be a bit tofu in cheek.

I rarely have sausage, but if I do they're of the vegetarian variety - Quorn/ Linda McCartney. I agree they can be dry (like parts of your first post?) but the serving suggestion of 'sausage, red onions & rosemary, with spring onion buttered mash potatoes and minted peas' certainly whets my appetite.
