Nice to have you back. It's not been too bad on here recently, so perhaps the antagonists have gone to ground.

First Mate:

I prefer to chat here with people I feel comfy with, rather than venture into the unknown, meaning social media. I wouldn't join any of 'em. Facebook etc are the devil's playground in a lot of ways, although I'm sure it can serve a good purpose for the many rather than the few. Some of those "other" sites you mention probably closed for good reason.

As long as there are those of us who put on threads for fun, or serious conversation in a positive way, and we all ignore the negativity, this site will continue for loyal members.
