Welcome to the Hobbies and Books board
Started by: brian (838)  Report abuse
There have been many suggestions to replace the old politics board including hobbies, gardening, books, films, theatre, dvds etc.

Thought I would create a new hobbies / books board to cover them all.

I'll begin...

One of my hobbies is walking!

Walked the Leeds Liverpool Canal with my lad a few years ago:
A walk down the Leeds/Liverpool Canal

Since then, we've walked the Bridgewater and Lancaster Canals:
Canal Walking

Hope to do the coast to coast this year.

Thanks. If we do the coast to coast expect yet another website clogging up the internet.

I did hope we would get a section on books as I have posted on the subject before, and I know a few others who will be pleased. Good idea to combine the subject with other hobbies, although there may be some strange ones knocking around

Brian, a personal type question. Your profile shows your early years spent in Lower Ince. Did you have a female relative who enjoyed the weekly hop at the "Old Folks" club hall. Perhaps your granny or great aunt.
