A very good midweek to everybody.
A dull cloudy day with a little rain this arvo here in Blighty, 9C.
Another lazy morning asleep, I’m still not well.
I was too ill to do the ‘words’ at lunchtime.
This arvo a trip to Ena Mill in Atherton was had, which brightened me up a little.
We bought a leather belt, a stainless steel teapot, tea towels and a birthday card for our Kit’s Mother-in-Law.

I can’t add to your brainboxes words.
Well done to everybody and to NJ for the nine letter.

Lizzie, 39C is seriously hot, keep yourself cool and comfortable.
Hope you got some bargains today.
Hope ultimately you’ll get your eyes sorted.
Thanks for our midweek wordage.

This arvo a walk around Rivvie is planned, but they have forecast very strong winds so it’s all about timing.

Mo, I was a little concerned yesterday when you didn’t post, but you did do the quiz last night so I hope all is well.

A very good day to everybody
A dullish cloudy day here in Blighty, 7C is forecast.
A trip to the doctors this morning.
I’m most upset, I can’t sleep and she has offered me no help whatsoever, just printed me a list of things to do or not to do, things which I already know.
I have to come off the medication I was taking and go ‘cold turkey’, so I may be unwell for the next few days.
A few glasses on Vino Collapso at night will help LOL!!!!!!!
This arvo, our big shop at Horwich Tesco.

Mo, hope you are keeping well.
The little fellah will be nice and warm indoors today, it’s ‘taters’ out there.

Well done to NJ for the 9 letter.
Loads more for Our Mo and Vince.
Marie is still absent, hope all is OK.

Lizzie, 22C sounds ideal, nice and comfortable, enjoy the warmth.
Thanks for our Tuesday wordage.

problems sleeping as long as I've known him..he takes "Sleep Aid" from Asda but...they haven't had any in for over a week now so you wonder
what's going on,but if you can get them anywhere they do seem to do the
trick..I'm one of the lucky ones, never had problems with sleep thank God.

A very good day to everybody
A dull cloudy day here in Blighty, 8C is forecast.
A trip to the doctors yesterday was most disappointing, she wouldn’t give me anything to help me sleep and just told me to come off my current tablets which have been making me ill, so I am preparing myself for a few days/weeks of nausea and hand tremors.
I was late posting the Tuesday quiz on WP last night because I couldn’t C & P the quiz from my Word doc because of hand shaking.
This arvo, a trip to Horwich Tesco for some bits and bobs.

Mo, not a good day for taking Gizzy out, keep him indoors.
Let’s hope the weather warms up in the next few weeks. I long for a good walk in milder weather, I’m fed up.

Hello all,it hasn't stopped raining from yesterday at all, very miserable ..Ray,
we wish you all the best for your recovery from those tablets, that's why an
awful lot of Hospital staff turn to natural health remedies..they see what
conventional drugs can do..I've actually seen a patient trying to climb the
wall.I do know that natural remedies don't always work, but it's worth trying
to find one that does..I also know that in dire cases only modern drugs are
the only thing that works..it's a big toss up.

A very good day to everybody
It’s really great to be back.
I’m about 80% back to normal and feeling a lot better.
My weight has fallen from 10 stone to 9st 4lbs but I have started to eat again.
I bought myself a blender and am making smoothies, today for lunch, a kale, carrot and tomato juice one, but a bit too thick and gloopy, so I’ll add more tomato juice next time.
A bright cloudy day here in Blighty, 6C is forecast.
This arvo, a walk round Rivvy.

Hope everybody is well.

Mo, hope you are well and keeping busy.

A very good day to all.
Thank you for your kind words everybody, really appreciated.
I’m about 90% back to normal and feeling a lot better.
A pleasant but cool day now here in Blighty after a wet morning, 7C according to the car’s sensor.
A busy morning cleaning, the first for about 9 or 10 days, then made a smoothie for lunch and fell asleep till 2 o’clock LOL!!!!!!, then it was a quick wash and turn out for our big shop at Tesco Horwich.
Hope everybody is well.

Mo, I never had you down as a ‘tattoo’ type of person, I don’t think I could ever get one myself but agree that a small ‘tasteful’ one is quite nice.
Hope you’ve had a good afternoon at Daves.

A very good day to all.
A cloudy day here in Blighty, 7C max is forecast.
A busy morning cleaning, I managed to stay awake for once LOL!!!!!
Yesterday we tried to do our big shop at Horwich Tesco, what a disaster!!!!!
Not one single carton of milk or paper tissues, no bleach or cleaning products, no hand wash, very little fresh produce, very little bread, hardly any tinned soup or canned fish and the freezers almost empty.
Susan did some shopping this morning for Terry next door.
He is the best neighbour you could have, he is in his eighties but suffering with a chest infection at the moment.
After lunch I fell asleep till 2-15pm, but woke up feeling good.
This arvo a walk up to our town centre to see if Sainsies are doing special early morning openings for boomers like us, it seems they’re not.

Hello all, first of all I'm sorry your problem has started up again Ray..I really
am..as for Cliff..well he isn't well at all,as I've said he would go mad if I mentioned the docs, but he's had a continuous cough for five weeks, can't
sleep, then his ankles started to swell terrible, couldn't breathe properly,so I
rang his doc spoke to receptionist she said the doc would ring back, which
he did, asked Cliff questions and said it sounded like heart failure..I can't tell
you how I felt, anyway I had to go to Chemist yesterday for a script the doc
has sent through, they're water tabs..his ankles are going down a bit,but he
has no energy at all, still breathing bad, keeps nodding off but wakes up
struggling to breathe,he's never had any illness in his life,he never had to
have Meds for his Diabetes two..so for now,we're just hoping that he comes
out of this..it's so worrying.he can't lie down to sleep so have to bring bedding down every night while he sleeps in the chair.

I sincerely hope it isn't heart trouble.
To put it in context, I had a heart attack in 2011 just before my retirement.
I take a beta blocker to slow my heart down, aspirin to thin my blood, Irbesartan to open up my arteries and a statin to lower my cholesterol.
Those drugs have kept me going with no more heart problems, so you CAN get on with life.
