A very good Friday to everybody.
Another cloudy nonedescript day here in Blighty, 10C max. is on the cards.
A lazy morning doing nowt LOL!!!!!
We are finishing the last of the turkey tonight with a salad.
This arvo a mini food shop at Sainsies in Leyth
We are entertaining our Kit and new hubby on Sunday, so we are doing a buffet.
It'll be lovely to see them. we last met in June at her new Father-in-Law's 70th birthday.

Hope you are enjoying the festive season Mo and Marie.

Well done to Marie for starting us off, and you got the 9 letter.
Loads nore for brainbox Mo.

Lizzie, I can't contemplate the temps you get in Oz.
We have had the hottest and sustained dry spell this Summer for decades, but nothing compared to what you are getting.
That said, our houses are not geared up for the heat, you must depend on your AC through the Summer.
Anyroad, enjoy the heat, we enjoying a relative mild spell at the moment. I HATE the cold.
Big thanks for our Friday wordage.

to spend a voucher ..got what I wanted.

Ray,we're having salad today, prawn salad..got to work on lessening the
calories sometime, and NO Christmas cake..been ordered by Cliff, not to
make trifle..must admit he's had too much sweet stuff lately.

Enjoy your meal out Marie.

Thanks our Lizzie..I remember the first time I went on the beach in
Barcelona and the heat engulfed me,I thought I'd never get used to it but it
is surprising isn't it,how you can become acclimatised..plus you've been
there so long you know how to cope with it...as Ray said..I hate the cold ,
always have and I wouldn't mind getting acclimatised if I had to.

I'm here Mo LOL

A very good day to all.
A cloudy cold day here in Blighty, 5C.
A lazy morning, then a trip to Hindley to pick my new ‘driving’ glasses up.
They’re anti-glare for night time driving (which I hate).
Just back from a supposed ‘mini-shop’ at Sainsies in Leyth, ended up spending £87!!!!!!! LOL, we bought stuff on special offer which we didn’t need, but usually buy on a regular basis.

Well, it’s all over now, I hope you are all well rested.
Good to see you posting again Vince.
Are you still painting Mo?
I bet Marie’s on a jolliday LOL

There are no words left pour moi, very well done Mo and Vince.

Saved £6 on coffee and £1-90 on Diet Coke.
Hope you got some savings also

A very good day to all.
A cloudy cold day here in Blighty, 8C.
Well, I had the most dreadful nights sleep, I was still awake at 4-00 am.
I fell asleep after breakfast and slept till 1-45pm.
It was then time to get ready for our usual big shop at Sainsies in Leyth, hence the late post.
Hope everybody is well.

Hope you enjoyed your Magnum Our Mo.

Well done with the words, I don’t think I can add to the total.

Lizzie, seems you have bats in the belfry LOL!!!!!!
I suspect you have wildlife in Oz the likes of which we’ll never see.
Always check the loo for spiders
Enjoy your day

I am not budging this arvo, no Siree!!!!!.

A lazy afternoon doing Friday's quiz is on the cards.

A very good Monday to everybody.
A bright sunny but cold day here in Blighty, 6C max. forecast.
A very quiet relaxing morning on me lappy, doing nowt.
The weather forecast for Tues, Wed and Thursday is not good, so we’re doing our ‘big shop’this arvo, just in case travel is disruptive.
Hope everybody had a good weekend.

Mo, I can relate to not wanting to do a hobby, there are days when I don’t want to play my uke and days when I really enjoy it.

A very good Tuesday to everybody.
A cold cloudy damp day here in Blighty, only 2C max. forecast, brrrrrrr!!!!!!!!
A visit to the doctors this morning.
I seems my folic acid, vitamin D and calcium levels are low.
I limit my dairy intake because of my heart condition, so I may need to address that.
I will add smoked mackerel to my weekly diet for the vitamin D.
I have been given folic acid supplements.

Mo, today looks like a staying indoors and visiting Dave day

A big Friday hello to everybody.
Another very cold bright sunny day here in Blighty, after an early dusting of snow, only 3C forecast.
I was watching the BBC News Channel earlier, made me mad.
It is very bad in the South West, South and East of the UK, with up to 12cm of snow.
They’ve had continuous coverage of it this morning, with hardly any other news being shown.
We had the same conditions in the North a few days ago, hardly any coverage!!!!!!!
Rant over, as Mo would say.
A light lunch of oat cakes and Marmite (got to get more B vitamins inside me).

Sorry to see your still unwell Mo, hope the prescriptions help.

Mo and Marie, please look after yourselves and your other halves.
Hope this spell is soon over, it is looking slightly warmer by Tues/Wed next week.
Vince, America and Europe are in the vice like grip of Winter and you are in such a lovely place to be.

A belated hello to everybody.
Well, what a B awful start to the day!!!!!!
The electricity supply went off at 9-00 am sharp.
My toast was half done, so I had pale toast / hard bread for breckies.
I couldn’t be bothered boiling a pan for coffee so had a can of coke.
It was awful going to Class, pouring with rain, freezing cold at 4C, and thoroughly miserable.
My usual Thursday to-ing and fro-ing this arvo.
Thankfully the Sun came out this arvo.
Power came back on very late afternoon, just in time for me to start the ‘tea’.
Obviously no power, so no t’tnternet, hence the late post.

Glad that you’ve got some more medication Mo, I’m sure it will sort you out.
You should try some Draught Guinness, it sorted me out!!!!!! LOL

oversleep-oversee-reeve-vespers-levee.

Well done with the words Mo and Marie.
Sounds like Vince is making sand castles in the golf course bunkers!!!!
Hopefully he will pop on later.

Lizzie, $100 sounds like a lot of dosh!!!!! LOL
Current exchange makes it £55, so not bad.
Thanks as ever for our wordage.

it has been a pleasant sunny cloudy day here in Blighty, 11C.
Not long back from Chester.
Two perfect journeys with no traffic or road works.
It was good to see Kit and her new hubby.

Good to see you’re improving a bit Mo.

This arvo a local walk, it’s Hindley History Society tonight, so we need to take it easy.

Forgot to say that our Kit made her Mother-in-Law’s Birthday cake.
The top was divided into 4 rectangles.
Each rectangle represented things which roughly came in to being at her birth year.
The number 70.
The European flag.
The NHS.
The German flag, they are big Germophiles and spend 6 weeks there every year.

Mo hope you and Cliff are improving a bit more.

A very good Saturday to everybodt.
A bright sunny cloudy day here in Blighty, 13C forecast.
A lazy morning on my lappy, and partly asleep!!!!

Mo, I’ll make it my job next week to get on Instagam / Google Plus.
This morning I didn’t need the aggro LOL

Well done Marie, you always start the ball rolling.
Loads more for Mo and Vince.
Have a great weekend everybody

Lizzie, our Kit’s hubby loves his job, and especially in Summer he does all the big pop concerts.
The downside is that he works away a lot, which since they got married they don’t like.
He is thinking of asking to get a ‘warehouse’ job with his company, that means he would be based in Liverpool where the warehouse is and would look after all the sound equipment and not be ‘on-the-road’.
We’ll see what happens.
Thanks for another great week of words.
Have a lovely weekend
