A belated good day to all.
Well, we’ve just got back from the Trafford Centre.
A last minute, spur of the moment decision straight after breakfast this morning.
Always a pleasant day out, with an M & S sarnie lunch sat in the car, today was prawn and salmon on brown bread and a big 55g bag of thick crinkle cut crisps, yum.
Susan managed to get some skinny jeans from M & S, and we bought out Kit a birthday card (early December).
Hope you got your leak sorted Mo

Reeve-ergo-eave-greave (part of a suit of armour).

Well done to Mo and Marie.
Enjoy your round of golf Vince.

Lizzie, hail indeed, seems your weather is still not for settling down.
I’m sure the heat of Summer will arrive soon.

Thanks Lizzie. I have been racking my brain and this is all I can come up with. Keeping Big Al away.

It was freezing this morning and there are dark clouds coming over.
I am going to St Helens this afternoon so I hope it doesn't rain.
Maureen, I hope you get the Wigan Observer.

Best wishes everyone. Have a good day.

Thanks Lizzie for your trouble. It makes our day as Ray's quiz does.

Hope Ray enjoys his lunch in Wales.

Maureen, have you done anymore painting. I look at them every so often.

Vince don't get sunburnt. It was freezing when I went for the paper this morning but it's not too bad now.

Have a good weekend everybody.

Good morning all.
Just to let you know, I won’t be on till later.
We are going to the village of Hawarden in Cheshire to the Glynne Arms for lunch.
We are meeting our Kit’s fiancée’s mum and dad for the fist time.
I’m both looking forward to it and a little nervous truth be told.
I will pop on later and have a bash at the words.
Take care all.

A big hello to all.
Hope everybody is well.

Well, we had a super day out.
Our Kit’s soon to be In Laws are a really lovely couple and we got on like a house on fire, we just felt like old friends., of course a glass of wine helps LOL.
The food was excellent, not cheap, but good ingredients and simply prepared.
Our Kit is having her wedding reception there, so it was a chance to see what it is like.
Of course it will be in the function room upstairs, not in the restaurant.
We had a bad journey home, yours truly missed the junction from the M56 to the M6, so we came back through Partington and Glazebrook, it took us an hour and three quarters, bl**dy nightmare!!!!!!!!! LOL.

Sounds like you a good day out too Mo, good for you.
Have a lovely weekend everybody.

Lizzie, thanks for our week of wordage, you work hard for us notreets LO..
Have a great weekend

A very big Monday hello to all.
A cloudy fairly bright day here at the moment here in Blighty, 12C forecast.
The week is set to be a little warmer, double figure temps, I know that will suit Our Mo.
Hope you all had a good weekend.

We had a lovely meal in Hawarden, pronounced 'Harden', (which IS in North Wales).
I went for good old fashioned fish and chips, the fish was a lovely piece of cod, which favvered a whale LOL, and thick cut hand cooked chips the size of thumbs.
Susan had sea bream and new potatoes, fabulous.

A busy morning painting our front bedroom, I'm trying to get it done for Christmas.
This arvo, a walk down to Hindley Cemetery.

A new tack today, don't look at other folks posts until later, do your words instead of just the missing words, it'll be less frustrating.

Well, we left the Trafford Centre about 2-30, it was very busy and we had had enough, it can be very tiring.
Thankfully up to now we haven’t had the amount of rain that Diane had forecast on North West weather.
It is quite mild today, 15.5C according to the car’s thermometer.
Mo, I don’t think you’re a fan of Winter are you LOL

it's set to turn colder midweek, I know you will hate that, I'm not looking forward to it either.
A busy morning prepping the bedroom ready for wallpapering, I'm all set to start tomorrow afternoon all being well.

Good morning dear friends..💜...well done with all your words...😊👍
Agree about the blood tests...they are a good indicator of inner health..😊..also I am being monitored for Haemochromatosis ....apparently I have the double gene...not only the one that gives me the condition but I am also a carrier...it’s all to do with how my body processes Iron...😊...anyway all I have to do if the saturation gets high...just give a pint of blood ...easy as that...😊👍..ok let’s go!!!

A beautiful cloudless bright sunny day here in Blighty, 5C going to Sainsies in Leyth this morning.
As Marie say, it makes you feel good to be alive.
Mo, I think I could stand the cold if it stayed like today.

This arvo I am starting my wallpapering, so no walk.
I find it quite therapeutic, you get a lot done in a short space of time.

We turned out for a walk yesterday afternoon, but very quickly came back home, it was taters.
Mo, you are right, I have been decorating.
I’ve worked all day and through my lunch as I was on a roll (LOL, pun intended) with my wallpapering, with just a bag of crisps for fuel.
Vince you are absolutely right, I have finished it and have just sat down.
Susan is doing the tea so I am not budging tonight.
I may be asleep at quiz time tonight, LOL.

Have a safe journey Vince.
Good luck with the painting Mo.
