Amazon

I have been extremely disappointed with their offers this season.

A handful, I considered worthy of investigating, and in every case, they turned out to be not even the best deal on Amazon for the item being offered!

From time to time, see Apps advertised which find cheapest on Amazon and/or cheaper THAN Amazon, but reviews seem to reveal they are very much oriented to users in U.S.A.

Anyone had any luck with suchlike in U.K.?

I have been on amazon sites but find e-bay easier for cost & delivery.

Got really p'd off with 'zon today.

Thought I would order some books for Christmas reading. Only a handful, but by time I had entered details of last one on my list, first one no longer offered at the price at which it was being offered when I selected it. Price had been increased by more than 60%.

The Amazon price had been the lowest, but if I actually buy it from Amazon it will cost me more than I will pay elsewhere!

Needless to say, I will not be buying it from Amazon
(Shan't get the rest on list from them either)

That's the trouble with Amazon (and some other on-line retailers) their prices change on a daily and sometimes hourly basis.

They must be cheaper at times or you wouldn’t even visit their site. My understanding is that you can stop the transaction at any time so if the price goes up cancel the order. Easy peasy. If you are very disappointed knock them off your favourites list.

Been in the paper a couple of times and even now on TV the wasted packaging for some of their items. Latest being for a torch to spotlight a girl dancing. Could have got 50 torches in the box he opens

Amazon are better than Curry,s, Wife bought a 32 " TV for the bedroom it lasted justover 12 months but she had taken the Knowhow insurance out, anyway it went bust so she rang Knowhow they told her to send it back she wasn,t allowed to take it to the shop because of corvid 19,A van came & picked it up & she got an email to say they had got the TV & it was unrepairable & they would send a voucher for the full price, It was promiced whithin three days but it,s now 7, she has phoned them umteem times but gets a promise it will bethere next daybut no Joy... Still fighting for the voucher, I think the next move is Small claims court
