We must leave Earth within 100 years
Started by: blackrodweaver (459) Report abuse
We must leave Earth within 100 years ; Stephen Hawking:

The astrophysicist has worried before that the Earth's prospects are finite. He's mentioned that the next 100 years might be the most dangerous for our planet. The threats he saw include nuclear war, genetically engineered viruses and global warming.
Now, though, citing asteroid strikes and overpopulation as well as his previous fears, he seems firmer about leaving before 2117. Indeed, he's making a TV program in which he begins to examine how we might swiftly take a one-way ticket beyond Earth.

Hawking is making a documentary for the BBC called "Expedition New Earth." It's part of the return of a show called "Tomorrow's World," which was very popular in the last century.

Look Forward to that programme, probably bring back
Wish you were here as well

Stephen Hawking is all my arse!
Whatever he says, people believe, even though they haven't a clue whether he's right or not and nobody's clever enough to prove him wrong.
He can't even talk proper.

People have been saying the same thing for years, Hawking not the first!

Both he and his fellow modern day crank theorists will be long dead by then; won't they, just like the many others throughout history. spud1, I've heard of that theory it's called Artificial Intelligence, a bit Jules Verne to me.

there,s something in his saying we have to leave the earth at sometime. from all accounts it,s the sun that,s dying as it,s over half the way through it,s life . so when it dies then we will have no light or heat to sustain life on this planet. after all the sun is just a ball of gas ? .
