Quietness

There's something quite pleasing about quietness .... The house is so quiet I can heard my dogs breathing ... One has a long deep draw of breath, the other a shorter faster breath.
One is snoring while the other is having a dream...brother and sister from the same litter in their twilight years, best of friends.

Life is good for dogs in my home...wish it was so for all dogs.

Breaks my heart when I see the suffering of so many animals at the hands of humans.. Your pets are Blessed, as were all the pets I have had, I only have a cat left now, she is asleep on my bed, no matter that she has three cat beds around the house, she never uses them..
Re the quiet, I love when I am alone in the house, the stillness and quiet, so quiet I can hear my own thoughts

I just wrote a disitation on quietness and erased it again lol, often do that so as not to sound pompous and again "can't be arsed" <<<fast developing into my favorite saying lol....must be my age and the curmudgeon effect lol.

' I can't be arsed ' is a favourite of mine too and not just on WW, but in general.. I hope I'm not becoming one of those old people who everyone stays away from because they are so miserable....

I've just done it again on FB, did this big long story about how much Wigan has changed in my lifetime.. Then deleted the whole lot...Why bother.. nobody cares...
